Press forging shop was built and put into operation in 1943. At the origins of the workshop there were experts, who came from the plant "Bolshevik". In the pressbaythere is forging press, equipped with floor rail manipulators. In the hammerbay there are three forging hammers. Blanks are transferred using stationary chain conveyors. For heating ingots and blanksbatch heating furnaces with drawout and fixed bottoms.

Product Range

Forgings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 8479-70, GOST 25054-81, OST 108.109.01.92, 56.9125-84 OST, OST 108.030.113-87.

Additionally, at the request of the customer the following tests are performed:

  1. Control macro and microstructure
  2. Control of the ferrite phase,
  3. Control of contamination by nonmetallic inclusions,
  4. Sonic inspection,
  5. Control the grainsize,
  6. Toughness at negative temperatures,
  7. Propensity to intergranular corrosion.
